PROMOTING THE DOWNTOWN

There are few places in the Midwest that inspire a greater feeling of nostalgia than down town Ottawa.  The murals depicting the Lincoln/Douglas debates mark the site where Abraham Lincoln began his historic campaign for the presidency.  The downtown business district forms an enclave of owner operated shops and restaurants.  The wholesome feeling of doing business with your friends and neighbors is alive and well in downtown Ottawa.  Please come and join us at some of our extraordinary events (Scarecrow Festival, Pumpkin Palooza, and Ottawa Ice Odyssey) and experience Ottawa for yourself.

This wouldn’t be such an amazing place to visit and live without the help of several key elements in our community.  Thank you goes out to the residents of Ottawa, The Ottawa Visitors Center, the City of Ottawa, and the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce.  Without their continued support we would not have such a phenomenal downtown.

A special thank you goes out to WCMY AM 1430 for their support and promotion.

If you have any questions or need information, please contact us at Ottawadowntownmerchants@gmail.com

Sincerely,

DeWayne Cronkright, President
